April 29, 2019 Albemarle County: Sidewalk Talk: A Panel on Form Based Code in Virginia

Albemarle County is just beginning the hard work of creating a form-based code for the Rio29 area of Albemarle County. Join them on the evening of Monday, April 29th to learn from Virginia Beach, Arlington and Leesburg about what form based code is, why it’s being adopted in other Virginia localities, and what has and hasn’t worked in these communities.

Albemarle County will be hosting:
Susan Berry-Hill, Town of Leesburg Director of Planning & Zoning
Ashby Moss, Virginia Beach Strategic Growth Area Planning Evaluation Coordinator
Takis Karontonis, Previous Executive Director of Columbia Pike Redevelopment Organization
Matt Mattauszek, Arlington Principal Planner, Columbia Pike Initiative Coordinator

Albemarle County needs your help to ensure that a form based code for Albemarle County achieves our community’s vision. Don’t miss this kickoff of the Rio29 Small Area Plan implementation!
