Program Details:
Laura Lafayette, Executive Director of the Partnership for Housing Affordability, will report on the Partnership’s senior housing study undertaken to inform business leaders, elected officials, and the development community about the struggles confronting senior homeowners throughout the region, as well as the actions that can be taken to address and mitigate the issues.

Lynn McAteer and Joyce Jackson will speak to the model BHC uses to develop affordable senior housing using the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program with special emphasis on the supportive services provided.

A tour of  the public spaces: Community Room, Library, and apartment will follow.

Located on the Winchester Greens campus, this 55 and up community provides attractive, convenient, affordable homes with many amenities, including community rooms and lounges with fireplaces, on-site laundry, off-street parking and landscaped courtyards. The residents have several conveniences including The Bermuda Health Center, banks, and restaurants located next to our community.

This housing was built using Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC).
