Andrew Basham, Principal, Spy Rock Real Estate Group

Join us for a special member only tour of the Symbol building in Scott’s Addition.  Developed by Spy Rock Real Estate Group and The Holladay Corporation, Symbol is a mixed-use project located on the site of a former mattress factory in the Scott’s Addition neighborhood of Richmond. Once a gritty industrial district made up of older warehouse properties, Scott’s Addition has given way to a dynamic collection of apartment lofts, breweries, restaurants, and office space for young and innovative companies. Symbol features a newly constructed 3-story 60,000 square foot commercial building with office, retail, and restaurant space, adjacent to 202 luxury apartments. The Class-A commercial building is anchored by Richmond-based Dominion Payroll and the restaurant Brenner Pass. The two apartment buildings feature a mix of 1, 2, and 3-bedroom units, quartz countertops, and stainless-steel appliances. On-site amenities include a half-acre green space, resort-style pool, fitness facility, clubroom, and rooftop deck, which are shared between the commercial and residential tenants. The project was designed by Richmond-based ADO, AES Engineers provided civil engineering and landscape design services, and Norfolk-based Hoy Construction was the general contractor on the project.

Join us for cocktails after the tour at Brenner Pass.
