    Program Details:

In the broadest sense, the definition of a Public-Private Partnership (P3) in Real Estate Development includes any project where publicly and privately owned resources are combined to achieve success. Where private sector interests align with the common good, local, regional, state and Federal funds and property can be leveraged to achieve goals that would otherwise be out of reach.

This event will provide an opportunity for attendees to learn about the history of P3 initiatives and the range of P3 projects found in real estate development. Cori Beasley will provide a primer on P3 from her practical experience working on both the private and public sides of real estate development in New York City, including involvement with the development of Hudson Yards. Brian Naumick will share case studies from his extensive experience with P3 projects, including the Fuse at Mason Square, George Mason University. The event will be moderated by Andrew Moore, Director of the Civic and Community Studio at Glavé & Holmes, a studio that bridges the seam between public and private sector clients.

Participants will gain new perspectives on the range of projects that fall under the P3 umbrella, and the opportunities provided by combining the resources of the public and private sectors.
