Newport News has plenty of development in the pipeline.

A key focus will be Ferguson’s planned City Center at Oyster Point campus that will bring 1,400 workers, including more than 400 new employees, to the mixed-use development with the city building a 1,500-space parking garage, Mayor McKinley Price and Newport News Development Director Florence Kingston told about 50 attendees of an Urban Land Institute Virginia meeting at Christopher Newport University on Tuesday.
