The TAP Program
Technical Assistance Panels, or TAPS, bring the expertise of the ULI membership and the real estate community together to collaborate to find solutions for complex land use, development, and redevelopment projects.
Over an intensive one and a half-day working session, experts address key questions about a specific development issue or policy barrier within a defined geographic area.
Over the course of the TAP, panelists tour the study area, meet with stakeholders, and work collaboratively to produce an initial report of findings which are presented on site at the conclusion of the panel. Within 4-6 weeks after the panel is completed, all findings and recommendations are provided report, providing a roadmap for success.
Objective of the ULI TAP Program
TAPs are designed specifically to be run and implemented by District Councils, and are intentionally flexible to provide sponsoring organizations a customized approach to specific land use and real estate issues.
The topics explored through our Technical Assistance Services are selected based on their applicability and resonance to communities around the region. The recommendations produced by our Panels- addressing emerging issues, land use, preservation, development and economic growth are documented in the reports available for download here.
